Calgary’s Summer Heat: A 2025 Satellite Perspective

I analyzed Calgary’s 2025 Summer thermal data to find the exact “tipping point” where urban vegetation starts working as a real air conditioner. Using non-linear regression on thousands of satellite data points, I identified a specific efficiency threshold: the point where plants stop being a “decorative installation” and start actively suppressing the Urban Heat Island effect.
